I absolutely hate the default player Kodi is using to play my video files. Can anyone tell me how to change it?
I have Kodi and everything but I don't really use it for anything except streaming video files from my laptop to play on my TV and playing video files from my external hard drive when I hook it up (rooted)
Whenever I play it I have to use this player and I absolutely hate it. It can't even do the most basic thing like choosing from what point in a movie you want to start it (or at least I haven't found it). What I want to know is if there's a way to change the default player Kodi uses to play video files that doesn't require some external program like MXPlayer or VLC or something like that that has a lot of features
Jun 21, 2015 - To use an external player on Kodi for Android you simply need to make a playercorefactory.xml file in the userdata folder. [Working] How to Stop Terrarium Buffering. Can do for terrarium we’ve also done the fix for Kodi Player Buffering. Select MX Player as default Media Player.
I took a picture of my screen that shows the player I'm using if anyone can help. Thanks.
